Saturday nights in Nashville will never be the same again...
Since opening in February of 2012, Bye Bye Liver: The Nashville Drinking Play has been attracting weekly, sold out crowds and garnering rave reviews. The show is a fun, fast-paced sketch comedy show that takes a satirical look at the drinking culture.
Whether it's the girl we all know that should never, ever drink liquor, the mind-reading piano player who can make or break an evening with a song, or the pack of girls who ALWAYS go to the bathroom in a group, it's all here and it's all hilariously lampooned in Bye Bye Liver.
And to liven things up even further, the cast plays everyone's favorite social games with the audience. The games will have audience members choosing sides in Would You Rather, guessing songs in Name That Tune, or even finding love as we attempt to test contestant’s compatibility in Match Maker. Guests of Bye Bye Liver will join an ensemble of the finest local sketch comedy actors in this interactive romp through the pratfalls and pitfalls of Nashville’s favorite past time: Drinking!
Bye Bye Liver, which began in 2006 in Chicago, has embarked upon a mission to expand to all parts of the globe. After opening successful shows all over the Midwestern United States and Canada, Bye Bye Liver is excited to make its southern debut in Nashville.
Bye Bye Liver was created by The Pub Theater Company, originally formed in 1998, by students in Middle Tennessee State University’s Theatre Program. After five years of performing in and around Nashville as N.A.S.N.N.I.P. (Not Always Shakespeare, Not Necessarily in the Park), the group relocated to Chicago and began producing shows as The Pub Theater. The Pub Theater Company is thrilled to be returning to their Nashville roots with Bye Bye Liver, a fun, fast-paced celebration of the drinking culture.
