1900 Davidson St.
With just under seven miles of multi-use trails to explore near the Cumberland River, Shelby Bottoms Greenway is a great place to take your dog for a walk, stroll with friends, clear your head, or take a nice bike ride. The fairly flat terrain makes for a super casual hike. There's always plenty of parking, and there are a few different access points for your convenience.
400 Davidson St.
Located inside a giant warehouse, The Marketplace makes socially distant shopping a breeze. Every Saturday they feature a variety of local vendors selling vintage, antiques, home decor, art, jewelry, and more! This venue is also home to the very popular and beloved Food Truck Feast which features up to 10 of Nashville's finest food trucks every Saturday. They have over 1.5 acres of outdoor space and 70+ tables for a socially distant, outdoor dining experience. Also, the first Friday of the month they host a night market with live music -- a perfect way to unwind after a long week.

Completely fenced in with plenty of room for your pup to explore -- Two Rivers is by far one of the best dog parks in all of Nashville. You and your furry friend can both get those steps in together, socialize, and stretch those legs when you're feeling cooped up.

Patio piña coladas are a thing, and they are divine. Pearl Diver has an extensive list of tropical themed drinks that serve serious beach vibes, and their retro island interior could not be more calming -- a great combination for after work happy hour or socially distant Sunday Funday. Serving delicious fried chicken in a cone -- just as fun and comforting as ice cream. Instead of sprinkles or syrup, top with white BBQ sauce and pineapple coleslaw! Coneheads is fairly new to East Nashville, but already a fan fave. Soak up some sun with a canned cocktail on their patio! Peep the menu here.

Looking for a completely contactless dining experience? Orders at Inglewood Lounge are placed online, and then when the food is ready, you can grab it from the takeout window. Some specials we're loving right now include their piri piri crispy chicken sandwich and shoestring fries with large refreshing cocktails like their jalapeño and cilantro green margarita (YUM), made with tequila and mezcal. Everything is served in to-go containers and can be taken home, or enjoyed on their picnic area or covered patio. Delivery orders can be placed directly through their website, check it out!

Boy are we missing their extensive, over the top brunch buffet, but thank heavens this East Nashville gem is still serving off menu on weekends. You can actually taste the love and tradition baked into every dish, including their homestyle creations like chicken and waffles, Shugga Hi cake waffles, fish sandwiches, and cookies! After being closed for months after the March 3rd tornadoes, Noble's repairs and renovations are finished so they are back open and better than ever! There's plenty our outdoor seating on their deck upstairs (now called The Break Room) and patio on the first floor. Lots of shareables, salads, sandwiches, and smoked meats on the menu. For the night owls, The Break Room offers pool, darts, and late night menu with the kitchen open 'til 2am!

Burgers unlike any other in the city including some of our favorite faves -- Marisela Poblano Mushroom, Stroganoff, Falafel, Salmon and more. The beer menu is equally as extensive, plus hard shakes and floats. All dine-in seating is outdoors for now, but that totally works out because they've got a beautiful shady Beer Garden and covered patio! LOTS and LOTS of outdoor picnic tables in their beer garden and deck -- East Nashville Beer Works is a community-centered taproom and brewery great for gathering with friends in a socially distance environment. 1008 Woodland St
Painted after the March tornado of 2020 by Milton Chavez, Jason Galaz & @mobeoner, the Nashville Strong Mural stands as a reminder of the strength of our unique East Nashville neighborhood!. Located on the side of Boston Commons in 5 Points, it's out in the open air so you can safely snap a few pics before walking up the street to grab a bushwacker from 3 Crow's sunny picnic tables, a slice from Five Points Pizza or grab a quick dog from I Dream Of Weenie -- man do they hook it up!
1034 W Eastland Ave
Located on the side of The Cleo apartments, this mural is designed by artist Kelsey Montague and comes with a real hot air balloon basket -- perfect posing for the 'gram. While you're in the area, you can grab a cup of coffee a Barista Parlor, a burger from Dino's (to-go or patio starting 9/3), or some breakfast at Nashville Biscuit House!

The mural encompasses all things East Side, and it's conveniently located along the drive-thru wall at Donut Distillery! So, you can admire the art and sentiment while ordering some fun and delicious little mini donuts -- work up an appetite by browsing their IG!

Saint Dolly strikes again with this quote that went viral and we couldn't be happier that it's plastered on of East Nashville dive, The 5 Spot. “Of course black lives matter. Do we think our little white a$$es are the only ones that matter? No!” This mural was painted by artist Kim Radford. Once you get your photo with Dolly, walk on over to Hunters Station. They've got an assortment of food options to choose from including The Grilled Cheeserie, Tacos Aurora, and Citizen Market with picnic tables outside and designated patio for off-leash play time with your pup!
711 Gallatin Ave/Eastland (on Kroger)
Done by the talented folks at @eastsidemurals, we love this vibrant display on the side of Kroger on Eastland Ave done by local artists to celebrate their Grand Reopening. If you pop by to take a gander, keep on going up the street for a nest of shops and restaurants like Five Daughters Bakery, Rosepepper (open porched seating), Two Ten Jack, and Ugly Mugs (outdoor patio seating).
