What We’re Listening To This SUMMER

Hi, we’re Team Do615. You see all the music we promote around the city, now it's time to share what we are listening to behind the scenes this summer.

Week of July 13, 2026 Fresh picks, mild opinions, good noise.

Staff Picks

The songs currently making our headphones everyone else’s problem.

Wine Lips album artwork

Brian Waters · General Manager

“Semi-Detached Furniture Home” By: Wine Lips

Need a reminder that everyone is broke, but in a catchy song format? Check out the new one from Wine Lips and then follow up with the rest of their catalog. They have several songs on my No Down Tempo playlist for work. I caught Wine Lips at DRKMTTR at the start of the summer and hope they return soon!

“New Day” By:  Liz Cooper

This is my summer fever dream anthem. Beautifully and sonically, Liz & company capture the monkey mind & the urge to contain it through it's mess to get a hold of life, and I think that's why I love this song so much. It resolves by reminding us that it's a new day, urging us to get out there, make plans, and check some things off our list. Action is the best way to fight stagnation. And rock n roll is the best therapy that I know to remind me that there is more to life than death and taxes.

Stella Lefty & Vincent Mason album artwork

Jess Gomez · Creative Content manager

“Something To Lose” By:  Stella lefty and Vincent Mason

Ever since I saw Stella Lefty and Vincent Mason duet during CMA Fest, I have been obsessed with “Something to Lose.” Watching them perform felt very Daisy Jones & The Six coded, which, by the way, is an AMAZING show that I highly recommend if you somehow have not seen the masterpiece yet.

Stella and Vincent’s chemistry is off the charts, and the best part about the song is that it’s about their story. Stella wrote it just two weeks after meeting Vincent, which is pretty bold behavior for a huge love song. But because the song was about him, she knew he had to be the one to sing it with her. He was surprised when he heard it at first, but through performing it together, they both ended up falling deeply in love.

I have had this song on repeat all summer, and if you get the pleasure of listening to it, I hope you love it as much as I do!

LANY album artwork

Megan Durland · Live Events Account Coordinator

“Make me Forget” By: LANY

I've been liking Make Me Forget by LANY. I listened to them a lot in college but just recently re-discovered some of their new songs after getting tickets to their Pinnacle show on DoMORE! I like that it's upbeat, good summer vibes.

Isaiah Rashad album artwork

Zach Haught · Senior Account manager

“SUPAFICIAL” By: Isaiah Rashad

Isaiah Rashad's new album, IT'S BEEN AWFUL, comes with more baggage than your standard song or album of the summer. The Chattanooga-born, former Nashvillian is in peak form following a tumultuous five years of active addiction and invasions of privacy. Although it packs an emotional punch, Rashad's southern bounce is as warm, soulful, and inviting as ever with tracks like "SUPAFICIAL." This is bound to soundtrack your windows-down drives and patio hangs for the remainder of the summer.

Experience it live at Marathon Music Works on September 10th.

Audioslave album artwork

“Show Me How To Live” By:  Audioslave

This track has been on repeat for me all summer. It's a classic that never gets old and makes for the perfect windows-down driving song. The loud vocals and heavy guitar give it a great "break free" energy that makes any drive better.

Harry Styles album artwork

Carly Lefler · Intern

“American Girls” By:  Harry Styles

Can we really have summer without Harry Styles? This song instantly puts me in a summer mood with its fun, upbeat energy. It’s definitely one of my top songs for the summer!

OFF! album artwork

Luke mager · Intern

“Upside Down” By: OFF!

This band has been on repeat in my car and when I work out all summer. As punk music typically goes, the songs are short and pack a ton of energy into a short time frame. This song from their first EP is a perfect example of this, as it is just over a minute long but has a lot to say. I believe this band is definitely worth listening to.
